A trip back to the 80s with Go West Live at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls brought 80s English pop duo Go West last November 11 and 12 and melted the hearts of the nostalgic Filipino audience with their feel good music.


The Go West duo, comprised of lead vocalist/drummer Peter Cox and vocalist/guitarist Richard Drummie went to Manila for a special two-day concert at the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls where they treated the concert-goers to a musical journey back to the 80s once again.


The "King of Wishful Thinking" duo performed on a back-to-back concert on November 11 in Eastwood City, Quezon City and November 12 at Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.


Started in 1985, they landed at the top 5 in both the UK and US hit charts with "We Close Our Eyes", winning the Best Newcomer trophy at the Brit Awards in 1986. Their songs were such hits that one was even awarded the most played song in the US airwaves.
