Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations Awarded in Malacanang

The search for the 9th Ten Accomplished Youth Organization in the Philippines culminates on Thursday at the Malacanang Palace, Manila from 10:00 - 12NN with his Excellency Benigno Simeon Aquino III as the guest of honor.



The ten awardees are the Industrial Engineering Council, LIRA (Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo), Youth Solidarity for Peace-Peace Advocates Zamboanga, Association of Locally Empowered Youth in Northen Mindanao, Alyansa ng mga Kristyanong Mag-aaral - Responsible ng Balikatan han mga Kabataan (AKMA-RESBAK), Indak Kabataan Youth Organization, University of the Cordilleras - Hapiyoh Mi Cultural Group, Young Mindanawans Peace Builders, Aklan Caltholoc College Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, and AUL-STAGE (Sama-samang Tinig ng mga Aktor na Gumagalaw sa Entablado).

Special awards are also awarded to the Kairos Band for the Coke Barkada Award and the Association of Locally Empowered Youth in Northen Mindanao for the Lenovo's Most Innovative Project Award.

TAYO 9 is presented by the Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc and organized by the National Youth Commission in partnership with the Office of Senator Kiko Pangilinan. Also supporting the search are: The Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Agriculture, Philippine Information Agency, Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation, and the Philippine Center of Young Leaders in Governance Foundation, Inc.
